Left-wing authoritarianism going global as conservative activist and Canadian YouTuber Lauren Southern “detained” by UK authorities to suppress her speech

There is a cultural, political, social, and economic battle taking place throughout the Western world between the forces of freedom, independence, and liberty and those who prefer Marxist authoritarianism.

And make no mistake, this fight will determine whether human freedom survives into the next generation or whether Left-wing autocrats will succeed in imposing their will on the masses.

In the U.S. the battle lines are drawn between supporters of President Donald J. Trump, who is working tirelessly to restore our republic, and the American Communist Party, also known as Democrats, as they and their sycophants in the media and tech industries harangue, cajole and censor all voices of opposition.

But this fight isn’t just limited to America; it has spread throughout the Western world and is now being waged on battlefields abroad, including the United Kingdom, where conservative Canadian You-Tuber and activist Lauren Southern was detained in recent days and denied entry in the country, her phone and passport taken from her.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, her detention came on the same day that American YouTuber and fellow activist Brittany Pettibone and Austrian activist Martin Sellner were refused entry into the UK and held for nearly three days.

“.@Lauren_Southern, on her way to the U.K. by bus, has been singled out by the border police—they took her passport and she’s currently being questioned. I’ll keep you updated on the situation as soon as I learn more,” Pettibone tweeted on Sunday.

The GP noted that Southern was traveling to the UK when she was singled out by border police and taken to a holding area for questioning. The website reported that attempts to reach her by cellphone were sent immediately to voicemail.

“Sellner and Pettibone had been detained and denied entry for him planning to give a speech and for her plans to interview right-wing journalist and UK citizen Tommy Robinson,” the website reported further. (Related: More left-wing violence on parade as commentator says all conservatives should be drowned to death by holding their heads underwater.)

Before they were all detained, Southern planned to link up with the pair.

Infowars’ editor-at-large Paul Joseph Watson tweeted out a notice to Southern from the UK’s Channel Tunnel authority titled, “Notice of Refusal of Leave to Enter,” which states:

To: Lauren Cherie Southern

You have been asked for leave to enter the United Kingdom as a visitor for up to five days. However, by your own admission, on the 24th February 2018 you were involved in the distribution of racist material in Luton. I believe that your actions whilst in the United Kingdom present a threat to the fundamental interests of society and to the public policy of the United Kingdom.

You have not sought entry under any other provisions under the immigration rules.

I therefore refuse you leave to enter the United Kingdom.

I propose to request that the competent French authorities remove you from the Control Zone.

“So are we now to assume that the UK has a kind of reverse Muslim ban? Anyone critical of the belief system of Islam (which is not a race) is now barred from entering the country?” Watson tweeted with the notice. “Questions in Parliament need to be asked about this. Truly shocking.”

The treatment of others who advocate similar conservative positions as Southern, Sellner, and Pettibone has dramatically increased in the past decade, largely following the eight years of the Obama administration. In the Obama era, voters in countless European countries elected far-Left leaders one after another, while at the same time adopting insane speech and behavior codes and laws that essentially stamp out political opposition and impose an authoritarian, intolerant Left-wing worldview.

In the age of Trump, we should only expect our divisions to deepen as both sides dig in for the coming battles.
